About the Mobile Astronomical Society

The Mobile Astronomical Society, established in 1984, is a thriving community of amateur astronomers in the Mobile, Alabama area. Our mission is to foster a love for astronomy, provide educational opportunities, and promote scientific exploration of the universe.
